This is an ideal pack to do with families and with small children. From 1 to 5 people with at least 1 child under 16 years old, children can use a bicycle or semi-tandem and helmets will be included. The duration will be one day.

An easy outing designed to be done calmly for a day, with a flat route along the “Via verda” of 11 km to Hostalets d’en Bas where you can have a picnic or go to a restaurant, and return along the same route. Very well signposted and has numerous playgrounds and drinking water fountains.

We start next to the old Olot train station, using the greenway, we cross Les Preses and Sant Esteve d’en Bas. It’s very easy and well signposted, but if you want you can download the map.

The bicycle and the equipment are provided by “Garrotxa amb Bici” in perfect working condition and must be returned in the same condition. “Garrotxa amb Bici” undertakes to provide the requested service.
The user has the following obligations:
Keep the bicycle in good condition at all times and make good use of it, with respect for the rules in force.

Immediately inform “Garrotxa amb Bici” in the event of a bicycle breakdown, theft, or any incident related to the service. In the event of theft, loss, or disappearance of the bicycle, the user must also report it to the police and notify “Garrotxa amb Bici”.
Faults that can be fixed with the Repair Kit will be carried out by the user themselves. For breakdowns requiring technical assistance, “Garrotxa amb Bici” will be contacted to agree on the best solution. In the event of repairs carried out at other establishments without the prior approval of “Garrotxa amb Bici”, the user shall be responsible for any incidents that may arise.

Expenses borne by the user:
Any damage resulting from improper use or caused by accidental circumstances (collisions, falls, impacts, etc.), as well as the loss, theft, or damage of the rented bicycles or accessories, must be paid for according to the following values:

Bicycles: Children’s MTB: €300; Basic Category: €250; Mid-range Category: €600; Premium Category: €1,000; Gravel: €1,300; Electric: €1,800. Accessories: Helmet: €25; Semi-tandem: €200; Child seat: €80; Panniers: €100; Mobile phone holder: €20; TRAX: €40.

Administrative penalties for traffic violations and other violations related to the use of the bicycle during the transfer period.
Any other expenses derived from the civil liability of the user.

Other conditions:

Legal costs arising from the user's failure to comply with the obligations contained in this contract will be borne by the user. Both parties expressly submit to the jurisdiction and competence of the courts and tribunals of Olot, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply to them.
The service does not include personal insurance or insurance for bicycles and equipment. Optionally it can be hired.
The data provided by the user will be incorporated into the files owned by “Garrotxa amb Bici”, in accordance with Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December on the Protection of Personal Data (LOPD). Personal data will be treated with the degree of protection established in Royal Decree 1720/2007, of December 21, which approves the Regulation that implements Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13, on the protection of personal data.

Reservation cancellation policy
Made 1 week before the date of the activity: possibility to move the reservation to other available dates or return 95% of the amount paid (advance).
Made 3 days before the date of the activity: possibility to move the reservation to other available dates or return 30% of the amount paid (advance).
Made 1 or 2 days before: there will be no refund of the deposit, but the possibility of moving the reservation to other available dates will be given.
In case of cancellation with refund, a minimum of €10 will be charged for administrative costs.
All cancellations must be made by phone and in writing (e-mail) for record.

Deposit policy for rented accessories
In case cyclists want a repair kit and/or lock (1 for every 2 bikes rented), a deposit of €20 will be required for the kit and €10 for the lock, which will be paid in cash.
To rent bicycles (normal and electric) and accessories, it will be necessary to fill in the corresponding part of the rental contract with the bank card details and sign it.
If this section is not completed, “Garrotxa amb Bici” will not proceed with the rental of bicycles and accessories.
