It is the pioneer of bicycle routes created in our (Ruta del Carrilet Olot-Girona). 1993, the recovery of the train track between Les Preses and Olot began, its route was extended and conditioned as far as Girona It is one of the greenways most frequented by cyclists, both on full and partial routes.
It rises in Olot, within the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park, and rises to Coll d’en Bas along the upper part of the Fluvià River. It descends gently through the Hostoles valley following the course of the Brugent river. Next to the river Ter, it goes down to Girona through fields and orchards.
